Eileen Reid

Eileen Reid is a Scottish writer and the daughter of the legendary trade union leader Jimmy Reid. She worked at Glasgow School of Art as Head of Widening Access after lecturing in philosophy at Langside College. A regular contributor to the Scottish Review, she writes on politics, philosophy, culture, and her family's deep roots in Clydebank's trade union and Communist traditions.
