Ena Lamont Stewart (1912-2006) was a pioneering Scottish playwright best known for Men Should Weep (1947), a landmark drama about poverty in 1930s Glasgow. The play was revived by 7:84 Theatre Company in 1982 and is now considered a classic of Scottish theatre.
