Scottish Review

Kenneth Roy (1945-2018) was the founding editor of Scottish Review, Scotland's independent magazine of commentary and culture. He launched the publication in 1995 and edited it until his death in 2018. His work on Scottish Review included The Cafe, a long-running reader discussion column; Findings, a series of statistical snapshots about Scottish society; and Dictionary, a monthly exploration of word origins and usage. A journalist, broadcaster, and author, Roy was one of Scotland's most respected voices in public life.
