Drivers in Aberdeen were urged to avoid Beechgrove Terrace on Monday evening after a crash prompted police to close the road. Emergency services were called to the scene at around 6.20pm, and officers shut Beechgrove Terrace between Beechgrove Avenue and Fountainhall Road.

Police Scotland confirmed the closure but did not release details about the nature of the collision or whether anyone was injured. A spokesperson said: “Beechgrove Terrace is closed between Beechgrove Avenue and Fountainhall Road in Aberdeen due to a report of a crash which we received around 6.20pm on Monday, February 23, 2026. Motorists are asked to avoid the area.”

Beechgrove Terrace sits in the west end of Aberdeen, a residential stretch that would have been busy with evening traffic at that time. Anyone with information about the incident should contact Police Scotland on 101.
