It’s just another Saturday in Bathgate. Not many takers for the environmental improvement area in the High Street
The atmosphere is almost carnival
But wait, and go on waiting. Something’s about to happen..Not sure
what, though
They’re even selling balloons and snakes
And the fishmonger has left his shop in anticipation
Ah! A small procession approaches
Are they just a little brassed off?
Not at all. Santa has arrived in town. He’s the one with the beard
thinking of placing a bet at William Hill. Christmas has reached Bathgate: it’s official now
