A 41 year old man is fighting for his health in Forth Valley Hospital after being struck during a collision between two cars on Stirling Road in Alloa on Saturday evening.
Emergency services were called to the A907 at around 8.30pm after a white Dacia Sandero and a blue Ford Focus collided, with the pedestrian caught up in the incident. The drivers of both vehicles walked away without injury.
Sergeant Chris Bright appealed for anyone who may have seen either vehicle in the area around the time of the crash to come forward. Dash cam footage is particularly sought after.
It is another grim reminder of how dangerous our roads can be for those on foot, even on well known routes through town centres. Alloa’s Stirling Road is a busy stretch at the best of times, and Saturday evening traffic would have been flowing freely.
Anyone with information can call 101 quoting incident 2975 of Saturday 21 February 2026. I hope the man pulls through.
