Tracked two test withdrawals each at Goldenbet and Freshbet over the last 30 days — wanted to refresh the picture after the back-to-back hiccups in March. Both operate on the Affision platform, both KYC-light, both flagged "instant" BTC payouts in their FAQs. Reality has diverged.
Test setup: £50 deposit per operator, basic welcome bonus claimed, played through (8x rollover ≈ £400 staked) on low-volatility slots until a payable balance emerged. Then withdrew. Tracked time-to-confirmed-receipt.
Goldenbet — first withdrawal: 47 minutes BTC, no friction. Second withdrawal (after winning a £180 jackpot, so larger amount): held in "compliance review" for 11 hours, then cleared without any document request. Both went through eventually.
Freshbet — first withdrawal: 4 minutes BTC, fastest I've had at any operator this year. Second withdrawal (similar amount to the Goldenbet jackpot): 7 minutes, no compliance review touched. Effectively instant.
So Freshbet is winning on consistency this month. Goldenbet's compliance hold pattern is the thing to watch — they didn't actually demand documents, they just sat on it. That's a worse experience than asking for paperwork up front.
Sidebar: Donbet and MyStake both run on the same affiliate platform as Goldenbet but on a different payout-rail; their behaviour has been more like Freshbet's in my testing.
