Been tracking Gonzo's Quest across three different sessions this week and the numbers are mental. At £2.50 per spin, I'm hitting the free falls bonus every 67 spins on average (tracked 402 spins total). Drop down to 25p stakes and it's taking 190+ spins between bonuses.
This isn't just variance - I've documented every spin on a spreadsheet. The avalanche multipliers seem identical once you're in the feature, but the trigger frequency is completely different. Same RTP supposedly, but the volatility profile changes dramatically with stake size.
Session breakdown:
- Tuesday 3pm-5pm: £2.50 stakes - bonuses at spins 61, 128, 195
- Wednesday 7pm-9pm: 25p stakes - bonuses at spins 184, 367
- Thursday lunch: £2.50 stakes - bonuses at spins 72, 139
Anyone else noticed NetEnt games behaving differently at higher stakes? This feels like more than just normal variance to me.
