Just got off live chat with Kaasino support after noticing my Saturday cashback was lower than expected. They've confirmed they've dropped their weekend live blackjack cashback from 25% down to 15% effective this Saturday just gone.

Been playing their Evolution tables every weekend for the past 3 months, usually losing £200-300 on Saturday sessions and getting that lovely 25% back on Sunday morning. Last week I lost £280 and only got £42 back instead of the £70 I was expecting.

Support agent (Sarah) said it's a "promotional adjustment to align with market standards" but honestly feels like another way to squeeze regular players. Anyone else noticed this change or similar cuts at other operators recently?

Not surprised at all. Kaasino's been cutting promos left and right since summer. That 25% cashback was unsustainable anyway - no operator gives away that much long-term without catching up eventually.

You're better off finding a site with consistent 10-12% cashback than chasing these inflated rates that always get slashed.

Had a similar experience at MadCasino two weekends back. They used to offer 20% cashback on weekend live dealer sessions but I noticed it dropped to 12% without any email notification.

Spent Friday night playing their Pragmatic Live blackjack tables, lost £315 over about 4 hours of play. Usually I'd wake up Saturday morning to find £63 in cashback sitting there, but only got £37.80 instead. Had to dig through their terms to find the small print about "promotional rates subject to change".

What really annoyed me was the lack of communication. At least Kaasino told you when you asked - MadCasino just quietly updated their cashback structure and hoped nobody would notice. Been tracking my weekend sessions in a spreadsheet since then and the difference is significant over time. £25-30 less cashback per weekend adds up to over £100 monthly.

Might be worth shopping around for better weekend live dealer offers. The market's definitely tightening up on these generous cashback rates.

Sorry for the basic question, but how do weekend cashback offers actually work? Is it based on net losses over the whole weekend or calculated differently?

I'm new to live dealer games and want to understand what I should be looking for in terms of cashback rates before I start playing regularly.

Aberdeen - most weekend cashback is calculated on net losses from Friday 6PM to Sunday 11:59PM, credited Monday morning. Rate applies to your total losses across eligible games during that window.

Rebecca - 15% is still decent compared to industry standard. I track cashback rates across 8 different operators and most live dealer weekend offers sit between 10-15%. The 25% you were getting was genuinely exceptional.

That said, the lack of advance notice is poor form. Most reputable sites give at least a week's warning before changing promotional terms.

Been in this game long enough to see these cycles repeat. Operators launch with generous cashback to build player base, then gradually reduce rates once they've got you hooked. Tale as old as time.

That said, Slottio still runs 18% weekend cashback on their live tables - been consistent for the past 6 months. Their Evolution blackjack selection isn't as extensive as Kaasino but the rates have stayed stable.

Worth diversifying your weekend play across 2-3 operators rather than putting all your action with one site. Spreads the risk when they inevitably start cutting promos.

The timing of this change is interesting - most operators adjust promotional rates at the start of a month, not mid-week. Suggests they were bleeding money on that 25% rate and needed to stop the losses quickly.

For live blackjack specifically, I'd recommend focusing more on finding tables with favorable rules (3:2 blackjack, dealer stands soft 17, double after split allowed) rather than chasing high cashback percentages. A 0.5% house edge difference will impact your results more than the cashback rate over time.
