Just got off live chat with Mystake support and they've confirmed the Friday reload bonus is dropping from 75% match to 40% match starting this Friday 13th December. Been getting the 75% rate for the past 8 months on my £100 weekly deposits.

Support agent said it's a "promotional adjustment to align with industry standards" but that's complete bollocks - they're just cutting costs before Christmas. The 35x wagering stays the same, so now you're getting less bonus money with the same playthrough requirements.

Current terms until Thursday:

  • 75% match up to £150 bonus
  • 35x wagering on bonus amount
  • 72-hour expiry on bonus funds

New terms from Friday:

  • 40% match up to £150 bonus
  • 35x wagering on bonus amount
  • 72-hour expiry unchanged

Anyone else getting hit with bonus cuts this week? Starting to think the non-GamStop sites are all tightening up before the new year.

Mystake's been cutting bonuses across the board for months. Their welcome offer went from 150% to 100% in October, now this. You're mental if you think any of these sites care about "industry standards" - they're just squeezing punters harder.

40% match is garbage when Paddy Power gives you 50% and they're fully regulated. Why are you even bothering with non-GamStop operators when the bonuses are getting worse than the high street bookies?

I've been tracking Mystake's bonus changes since they launched in the UK market 18 months ago. Started with 100% Friday reloads, dropped to 75% in March, now down to 40%. It's part of a wider pattern I'm seeing across non-GamStop operators.

Had a session last Friday using their 75% bonus on a £200 deposit. Got £150 bonus, hit the 35x wagering after about 4 hours on Pragmatic Play slots, cashed out £680. Under the new 40% rate, that same deposit would only give me £80 bonus - massive difference in playable balance.

What's interesting is Kingdom Casino just increased their Friday reload to 60% match last week. They're clearly trying to hoover up players jumping ship from Mystake. Their wagering is 30x instead of 35x too, so better value overall.

Been testing different operators for reload bonuses and the landscape is shifting fast. Some cutting, others increasing to grab market share. The 40% rate puts Mystake in the bottom tier now.

Sorry for the newbie question but what's a reload bonus exactly? I've only used welcome bonuses so far. Is 40% match good or bad compared to other sites?

Also confused about the 35x wagering - does that mean I need to bet 35 times the bonus amount or 35 times the deposit plus bonus? Still learning the terminology here.

40% is rubbish compared to what's available elsewhere! Just claimed a 65% Friday reload at Kaasino last week and cleared the 32x wagering in about 3 hours on Gates of Olympus. Hit the bonus round 6 times and walked away with £420 profit on a £150 deposit.

Mystake's slots selection is decent but their bonus terms are getting stingy. The 72-hour expiry is tight too - most sites give you a week to clear the wagering.

Looking at the mathematics, dropping from 75% to 40% match reduces your expected value significantly. On a £100 deposit, you're losing £35 in bonus funds but keeping the same 35x wagering requirement.

With average slot RTP of 96%, the house edge on wagering £2625 (75% bonus × 35x) versus £1400 (40% bonus × 35x) is substantial. You're getting less playable balance but proportionally the same risk exposure.

The smart move is switching to operators maintaining higher match rates. Basic bankroll management says chase the best bonus terms until they deteriorate, then move on.

It's disappointing but not surprising. Most operators cut bonuses when they've built up a decent player base. Mystake probably has enough regular depositors now that they can afford to reduce promotional spend.

I'd suggest shopping around for better Friday reload offers. There are still operators offering 60-70% match rates with reasonable wagering. Don't get too attached to any single site - loyalty rarely pays off in this industry.
