Been tracking Dead or Alive 2 sessions over the past fortnight and noticed something peculiar with the bonus trigger rates. At 20p stakes, I'm hitting the free spins feature roughly every 89 spins (tracked across 1,200 total spins). But when I bump up to £2 stakes, the bonus rounds are coming every 340+ spins on average.
The RTP is supposed to be identical regardless of stake size - 96.82% according to NetEnt's spec sheet. But these numbers suggest either massive variance clustering or something more systematic going on.
My tracking data:
- 20p stakes: 13 bonus rounds in 1,156 spins (1 in 89)
- £2 stakes: 7 bonus rounds in 2,380 spins (1 in 340)
Anyone else noticed similar patterns with Dead or Alive 2 specifically? I'm wondering if the volatility model changes based on bet levels, even though the stated RTP remains constant.
