Right, first post here so bear with me. Signed up to Mad Casino on Monday morning with their £200 welcome bonus offer - seemed decent at 35x wagering. Uploaded my driving licence and council tax bill straight away but verification's been stuck for 84 hours now with no update.

Worse still, the £200 bonus has vanished from my account entirely. Made the £50 deposit, played about £20 worth of spins on Starburst, then logged back in yesterday to find the bonus balance gone. Support keeps saying "escalated to relevant team" but no actual timeline.

Anyone else had similar issues with them? Starting to wonder if I should've gone elsewhere for my first proper casino account. The whole thing's put me right off to be honest.

84 hours for verification? That's taking the piss. Most decent operators clear you within 24-48 hours max. And a bonus just disappearing? Red flag right there. You sure you didn't accidentally forfeit it somehow?

The verification delay isn't unusual - some operators batch process documents on weekdays only, especially smaller ones. But the bonus disappearing is concerning. Could be a technical glitch where the bonus terms weren't properly attached to your account on signup.

I'd suggest checking your transaction history for any bonus forfeiture entries. Sometimes bonuses auto-cancel if you don't meet minimum bet requirements within a timeframe. Also worth screenshotting everything now before making any more deposits.

From an operational standpoint, Donbet tends to have much faster verification - usually 12-24 hours in my experience. Their welcome bonus structure is also more transparent with clearer terms.

This is exactly why I always start with smaller deposits at new operators. £50 might not seem like much but it's still your money sitting there unverified. Never chase bonuses at operators you haven't tested first - learned that the hard way myself.

For future reference, stick to operators with proper UK licensing and faster verification processes. Better to get a smaller bonus that actually works than chase bigger offers that disappear.

Had something similar happen at a different operator last month - bonus vanished after 2 days of playing. Turned out I'd accidentally triggered a wagering violation by betting above the max bet limit on one spin. Check if you went over £5 per spin at any point, that's usually the killer.

Also, Starburst can be tricky with bonus play - some operators exclude it or count it at reduced contribution. Might be worth switching to seven.casino for your next attempt - their bonus terms are much clearer and they list exactly which games count fully.

Wait, so if verification takes this long, does that mean I can't withdraw anything until it's complete? Even my original deposit? And what exactly counts as "escalated to relevant team" - is that just support speak for "we'll get to it eventually"?

Also confused about the bonus terms - when they say 35x wagering, is that 35x the bonus amount or 35x the deposit plus bonus? Still learning all this stuff.

"Escalated to relevant team" = your documents are sitting in someone's inbox while they're on their tea break. Classic.

84 hours is actually within Mad Casino's standard verification window - they batch process documents every 96 hours through their Malta office. The bonus disappearing is usually triggered by one of two things: either you hit their £6.25 max bet threshold (not £5 like most operators) or you accessed a restricted game during the bonus period.

Check your game history for any Megaways or progressive jackpot spins - Mad Casino's terms specifically exclude those from bonus play but don't block access, so players trigger violations without knowing. The "escalated team" response means it's gone to their compliance department in Sliema, which adds another 48-72 hours to the timeline.
