Just signed up to Jack.com yesterday after seeing their £200 welcome bonus advertised at 25x wagering. Deposited my £100 and the bonus appeared, but when I checked the terms in my account it's showing 40x wagering requirements instead of the 25x that was on their promo page.

Screenshot the original terms before depositing (learned that lesson the hard way), so I've got proof it said 25x when I signed up. Contacted support this morning and they're saying the terms changed overnight due to a "promotional adjustment" but my bonus should still honour the original 25x.

Problem is the system won't let me play through at 25x - it's definitely tracking at 40x. Already put £60 through Starburst and I'm only at 1.5x progress when I should be at 2.4x by my calculations.

Anyone else caught this? Support ticket is still open but wondering if this is a widespread issue or just my account glitching.

Absolute pisstake. Jack.com pulled this same stunt with their weekend reload last month - advertised 30x, locked in at 45x. They'll string you along with "system updates" and "promotional adjustments" but won't fix it.

Cut your losses now. Forfeit the bonus and withdraw your deposit before they find another excuse to delay.

I've tracked this exact issue across three different operators in the past month. The pattern is always the same: advertise low wagering to get signups, then "system glitch" bumps it up after deposit.

Your calculation is spot on - £60 at £0.20 spins through Starburst (96.09% RTP, 100% contribution) should put you at 2.4x progress on a £200 bonus. At 1.5x you're definitely being tracked at 40x.

Document everything. Screenshots of original terms, your deposit confirmation, current progress, and all support communication. If they don't honour the 25x within 48 hours, escalate to their licensing authority. I've got a spreadsheet tracking similar cases - 73% success rate when you push hard with documented evidence.

For future reference, MyStake locks in wagering requirements at the moment of bonus activation, so you can't get caught by these overnight changes.

This is exactly why I'm terrified to take bonuses. How do you even know what the real wagering is before you start playing? Should I always screenshot everything?

What happens if you just stop playing and try to withdraw the deposit? Do they let you or do they lock the whole account until you complete the bonus?

Had a brilliant experience with this exact situation last week! Not at Jack.com, but similar bait-and-switch at another site. Took screenshots of everything like you did, then went nuclear on their live chat.

Spent 2 hours in chat demanding they honour the original terms. First agent said no, second agent said maybe, third agent (supervisor) finally credited my account with the difference. Got my £180 win processed at the original 25x wagering instead of their sneaky 40x.

The key is persistence and having those screenshots. Don't let them fob you off with "system updates" - that's complete bollocks. You agreed to 25x, they need to honour 25x.

Jack.com support is actually decent once you get past the first-line agents. Had a withdrawal issue there in March and they sorted it within 24 hours after escalation.

That said, their bonus terms have been all over the place lately. Seen welcome bonuses range from 25x to 50x depending on which page you land on. Always check the account dashboard after activation - that's the legally binding version.

If you want rock-solid bonus terms that don't change, Gxmble displays wagering requirements in real-time on every game. No nasty surprises.

From the inside perspective, this screams like a system migration issue rather than deliberate fraud. Most operators run their bonus engines on third-party platforms, and when they update promotional parameters, there's often a 12-48 hour lag between marketing pages and the actual bonus system.

The fact that support acknowledged the original 25x terms is a good sign - means they can see the promotional history on their end. In my experience, accounts that get caught in these transition periods usually get manual adjustments within 3-5 business days.

That said, don't let them drag it out beyond a week. After 7 days, it becomes a "policy decision" rather than a "technical fix" and gets much harder to resolve.

The 12-48 hour lag excuse is absolute rubbish. Jack.com has been pulling this exact stunt for months - advertising one wagering requirement to get you to deposit, then slapping you with higher terms once your money's locked in. This isn't a system migration issue, it's deliberate bait-and-switch.

I've seen this pattern with their welcome bonuses since February. They'll show 25x on the landing page, 30x in the terms popup, and then lock you at 35x or 40x in your actual account. When you complain, first-line support claims it's a "technical error" and promises escalation that never comes.

Don't waste 2 hours in chat like the previous poster. File a complaint with the UKGC immediately - reference the Advertising Standards Authority guidelines on misleading promotional terms. Jack.com will fold within 48 hours rather than deal with regulatory scrutiny.
