Alright everyone, just joined after lurking for a few weeks. Based in Stirling and getting back into online gambling after a couple years away.

Quick question - what are realistic withdrawal times these days? I've been reading mixed things about verification taking anywhere from 6 hours to 4 days depending on the operator. Just want to set proper expectations before I start playing again.

Also, do most sites still require utility bills dated within 90 days, or have document requirements loosened up since 2022? My council tax statement is from April so should be fine, but wondering if bank statements work just as well.

Cheers for any guidance!

Welcome Neil! Former dealer here, worked verification for 18 months before moving on. Your April council tax should be absolutely fine - we accepted anything within 3 months no questions asked.

Withdrawal times really depend on your payment method and the operator's internal processes. E-wallets like PayPal typically clear within 6-12 hours once you're verified, but bank transfers can stretch to 3 business days even with established accounts. The big difference is whether they batch process withdrawals (most do this twice daily) or handle them individually.

One thing to watch - some operators flag first withdrawals for manual review regardless of amount, which can add 12-24 hours even if your documents are already approved. It's not personal, just standard AML procedure. Once you've got your first payout through, subsequent ones are usually much quicker.

Pro tip from behind the scenes: submit documents during business hours Monday-Thursday if possible. Weekend submissions often sit until Monday morning.

Don't believe the 6-hour claims mate. That's marketing nonsense for the 1% of perfect cases. Reality is 24-48 hours minimum for first withdrawals, often longer if they find any excuse to delay.

Bank statements work fine but they'll nitpick the address format if there's any tiny discrepancy with your registration details. Save yourself the hassle and use the council tax bill.

I've had decent luck with seven.casino for quick payouts - their verification took about 8 hours when I submitted everything Monday morning, and withdrawals have been hitting my Revolut within 12 hours since then. No complaints on document requirements either, standard stuff.

Just keep your initial deposits modest until you're comfortable with their processes. I started with £50 deposits and worked up from there once I knew the withdrawal flow worked smoothly.

This is exactly what I needed to know too! Been wondering about the same verification questions. Do you need to upload documents immediately after registering, or can you wait until your first withdrawal request?

Also Neil, have you found any operators that don't require phone verification? That step always seems to slow things down for me.

I'll share my recent experience with the verification dance, Neil. Signed up to three different operators last month to test their processes, submitted identical documents to each.

First was a Malta-licensed site - uploaded council tax bill, driving licence, and bank statement on a Tuesday afternoon. Got approval email Wednesday at 11am, so roughly 20 hours. Made a £100 withdrawal that Thursday, money hit my account Friday morning. Smooth as butter.

Second operator took 72 hours to approve the same documents, then requested an additional bank statement when I tried to withdraw. Apparently my Santander statement didn't show enough transaction history (it was only 2 weeks old). Sent them a 3-month statement, got approved the following Monday.

Third site - and this surprised me - approved everything within 4 hours on a Saturday. Weekend approval! Made a test withdrawal of £75 that same evening, cleared by Sunday afternoon. Turned out they use automated document scanning for standard UK documents, only flag unusual cases for manual review.

The lesson? Each operator has completely different internal processes, regardless of what their FAQ claims about timing.

Worth mentioning that Rolletto has been processing my withdrawals within 6-8 hours consistently, even for amounts over £200. Their verification was straightforward too - just the standard three documents, approved in about 14 hours when I submitted on a Wednesday.

The key is having everything ready before you make your first deposit. Upload documents immediately after registering, don't wait for the withdrawal request. Saves you days of waiting later.
